Nah. Harris would have broken down by now had he been playing this whole time. I would have liked to hear you two say this after the first day of the first test.

Reversion to the mean tbf.
Harris did play twelve consecutive Tests last summer tbf. And I mean, it's fair to pose that we wouldn't have done quite so much bowling had he been able to nip out key wickets at critical times as he usually does.

Few tests this summer, maybe WC, Ashes then he's done and off to the commentary box
He will play WC? his last ODI was in 2012 apparently. It would be quite impressive if he launches a "comeback" like that... Not that he isn't an impressive player already.

Pakistan have done well without their #1 Bowler, Misbah is an incredible player, he would easily make my number 6 batsman in a world XI.

True. Would have loved to see Rhino vs Younis.

Suspect that they will be looking to get every last drop out of him

He is currently playing grade cricket in Brisbane, batting 3 and bowled a few overs last week

I definitely don't think he'd have banged it in short of a length all day like we did for god knows how many overs.
That really was terrible. What I want to know is how are Harris' reverse swinging abilities?

I might just be imagining this but I think I heard somewhere that he said he's aiming for the next Ashes
No I mean who replaces him?

We are having our problems with replacing Kallis now after squeezing all the life out of his career, now there is a big hole in our ODI team.

And Kallis is still going to be theoretically easier to replace than replacing a world class bowler with a bunch of consistently injured bowlers.(sicknotes)

I think we're relying on Pattinson et al just becoming more reliable as tends to happen once fast bowlers get past 25 or so. There's certainly the talent to replace him, though they probably won't be quite as good at least for a while.
