Thought we just beat the Saffers awaySouth Africa are basically the only decent travelling side in world cricket aren't they?
Might be tempted to include the Lankans for now.
Pick Dermo! Can't wait to hear Mark Waugh speak about this.
well they are a great cricketing nationrather play SL in ODIs.
No it just shows that it was stupid to crown Australia as the best side in the world when they won in South Africa.Think this test shows what we all knew, there is no outstanding side at present and all the teams have faults that can be exploited on any given day. Some have more than others that is all.
Let's get seriousNot buying this "it's an ordinary attack" rubbish. It's an inexperienced attack with no superstars yet, but they've all got FC averages of 20-25 and they certainly haven't looked ordinary thus far. No names doesn't equal crap
Yeah, it's getting concerning. Only one decent score in the last 7 Tests. Obviously he won't be dumped, but there's a chance his back or captaincy may be adversely affecting his batting. For all the jokes Clarke makes on Twitter, there's no doubt in my mind that he's been patchy for a while now. Pulls out an awesome innings after 4-5 innings of contributing ****all.
Not fit IMO and probably will never be 100% againFor all the jokes Clarke makes on Twitter, there's no doubt in my mind that he's been patchy for a while now. Pulls out an awesome innings after 4-5 innings of contributing ****all.
To be fair they became number 1 on merit. They may lose it quite quickly if this series goes on in the same way. There isn't a side at present that would get anywhere near the Aussie side of 10 years ago.No it just shows that it was stupid to crown Australia as the best side in the world when they won in South Africa.
Now I've said that, Australia will probably win the next two by an innings .
I'd say his back. His stance looks really droopy and tired since the last Ashes, his bat looks like it's just hanging there now rather than being held.Yeah, it's getting concerning. Only one decent score in the last 7 Tests. Obviously he won't be dumped, but there's a chance his back or captaincy may be adversely affecting his batting.
Oh no, not talking about the official ranking. That's fine. I just didn't agree with the thought back then that winning in South Africa automatically made them better than South Africa. That just oversimplifies things .To be fair they became number 1 on merit. They may lose it quite quickly if this series goes on in the same way. I seriously doubt that SA could beat us in Australia atmOh no, not talking about the official ranking. That's fine. I just didn't agree with the thought back then that winning in South Africa automatically made them better than South Africa. That just oversimplifies things .
