***Official*** India in England 2014

Why can't they field like this when the ball is red?
Well they're completely different qualities being tested. Most of India's drops in the test were in the slips weren't they? India's fantastic fielding in the limited overs has been in the ring and in the outfield.

Slip fielding is really the only major issue fielding wise in tests as India haven't found a settled set of fielders for slips. Rahane and Jadeja have taken some seriously good catches, especially in the NZ tour, and some good run outs as well in the last year or so in test matches. Jadeja's been really good with caught and bowls off his own bowling as well.

Just can't rotate strike against spin. Doesn't matter how many big shots you it if you can't take the singles ur not gonna get very far.

It's so hard to work out the T20 side though, with just these one-off matches. Roy will go back to his county now feeling he's hardly been part of the set-up. Yet what can you do?

Roy unlucky, but I've never been convinced, unlike with, ahem Vince, who is just ***y classiness. Hate to agree with Scaly, but Bopara's S-R stands out like a sore-thumb in this form.

Roy no way gets dropped for me, think he has so much ability.

Just not Jos's day, least he didn't chew up to many and went for it. 160 + a solid score.

Getting too predictable Shammi, hard to blame him because he's good with his yorkers but ehh

Absolute LOL at that graphic not supporting Bumble at all. Most of the boundaries were at least a foot in front of the crease.

Root's a bit of an odd one in that his domestic T20 record is completely **** but the first time he batted in the a T20I he did this. He has the class to be relatively consistent in this format if that's his ceiling IMO. Hasn't really done anything since that but it makes you think he's worth persisting with.

That crack off the bat from the final ball was amazing.

LOL at India's death bowling though. This is why everyone moaning about England scoring too slowly at the start of ODI's annoys me. If we'd laid a good platform in any of the first three ODI's we really could've cashed in.
