Ganguly seemingly telling England to almost revert to their old style here, very interesting to hear. Says that we should play at least the first 6 overs each ball on their merit. Really rate him as a cricketing mind, so that has taken me aback a bit. General consensus seemed to be that England stuck in the past.

So England only score against spin at a rate of 0.11 and 0.1 per over worse than India and Australia respectively, while scoring at a rate of 0.11 and 0.21 better than SA and SL each. The issue is we get out to them a lot more, hence our average being third worse amongst the top 10.

India were miles off the pace even with Dhoni there, it was on only because he could score 130* because he is a G.O.A.T not because it actually was happening.
