BTW Bagapath, I have a doubt regarding the next round. If I remember correctly you said the 5th round would be free for all, which means unlike all the rounds so far it would not be based on a position. So we are free to choose any position we want, so let's say someone gets a number 3, someone gets another opener, someone gets a fast bowler, etc. So for the rounds from there on, people would be needing players in positions different from each other, Say I have picked a number 3 and then comes a round saying pick your number 3, then that would be an issue no? Or are the future rounds not going to be fixed for a position in the team?

We should be able to all rounds with constraints. Don't need a free round. May be as we go along the constraints can be broader. For example, pick a bowler with average over 30 or batsman with average under 40. This way people can choose if they want 4 bowler team or 5 for example.

At least the last round should be a free pick.

He said 6th and the last round will be free rounds

I'm assuming round 5 is for a middle-order batsman.

Lance Gibbs I guess.

Was in pretty much the worst position for the last two rounds.

I am properly placed here to pick my fast and fearsome bowlers but looks like I am going to struggle in next round ;)

Last 3 are lucky as there are number of good options for this round.

Going forward I really believe Monk's way of dropping/raising a slot in progressive rounds is a fairer way that random draws every other round.

Everyone gets a fair shot and it's more predictable. I think he also used 6 hour time limits.

Got screwed in both fast bowling rounds.
