That's as bad a bowling display from Jordan/Stokes as I can remember, even for England it was truely awful.

Well that was better finally. 304/6

Raina magnificent aggressive 100 then Rohit Sharma and Dhoni hitting 50s. Good game poised. Fantastic atmosphere in the ground everyone knows how much Indians love their ODIs lol

There is something wrong with Jadeja's grip right? When the ball is short or a full toss, the bat swing is at a bad angle and doesn't generate nearly enough power to get it away.

And before somebody else does it, here you go

There is something wrong with Jadeja
Fixed.

God even when we're chasing D/L manages to screw us.

The Welsh ****house is pretty much the anti-Australia in terms of conditions. So yet another reason not to play there.

Hales getting some luck today, which is good for England, once he gets in, and is settled, he really kicks on. If he can get through this period, he could make a big score!

Good first 10, Cook being allowed to settle in by Hales natural scoring rate - working almost exactly as England would have planned it. Both players have rode their luck to an extent but its an ODI in England, you need luck early.

Joe Root fails, quelle ****ing surprise. Love him in the Test side, can see his value in T20s but an ODI player he is not. Ridiculous how his run of piss poor form is allowed to continue.

I'm not sure there's a batting lineup we could find that would compensate for our bowling. It's been a heck of a while since Anderson was as good a we'd like in this format, and Stokes & Jordan just looked piss poor today. wadr any argument over Cook, Bell, Ballance & Root vs Vince and Taylor is shifting deckchairs on the Titanic. Not that it's stopping Swann sounding like a stuck record on the matter on TMS.
