Must be said he played extremely well against Steyn and co in the first dig at Galle, didn't really have the usual troubles against movement outside off either, but then since then he's been as bad as ever, has lacked temperament at times too.

Was a good point, can't remember the last time (if any) where he actually looked comfortable at the crease.

Russel Arnold suggesting it was down to a negative attitude and perhaps it is, that was most unlike Silva, no footwork and just throwing the hands at it, he generally knows exactly where his off stump is and pulls the bat inside the line if he doesn't need to play.
