Been a great day for us, shame about the late wicket but as long as the weather doesn't ruin the game we should win from here.
If you'd read my original mea culpa for what I had mistakenly written about Bell in the past, you would realize that I am one of those rare souls who is prepared to admit publicly when he's wrong. And graciously too. Funnily enough, it causes no pain at all. I'm sorry that it seems to be different for you.

Disappointed Gary got out notably it happened after I stopped watching so you know all you England fans need to be getting me tickets for England tests so Gary keeps scoring runs.

Man that was a painful first day. Seems like all the tests we have been losing in the recent past we lose them on the first day itself. Just takes away any interest in waking up early for the rest of the match. Really hope we somehow bowl them out for 200 maybe tomorrow but most probably will wake up to a score of 300/3.

We haven't actually taken a lead yet and our most consistent bat of the summer has just got out. If we get less than 260 anything can happen, and that's still the best part of two sessions away. There's no doubt England are in the driving seat but the murmur of game over seems very much unwarranted
Yeah, game not over but we have a chance to end it tomorrow. I agree though 3 quick wickets tomorrow morning and its back up in the air.
Great day for England, really seem to have turned a corner since Lords. Probably Dhoni's best test innings outside the subcontinent (his near ton vs Steyn and co in Centurion close). He has real limitations as a batsman in this format but he clearly tries his level best.
Too early to be saying game over and all that (and certainly not series because there's a match to go and it's 1-1 FFS!). If India in the next innings match whatever England get in their first innings then it'll still be a good game. England haven't horribly collapsed as yet in this series and there's always an English special at least once in a series. India have had theirs. There's rain forecast but unless 2 whole days get washed out we'll have a result (and cricinfo suggests there's a high probability of rain on days 2,4 and 5!).
