Who exactly is against DRS in the Indian set up? I thought it was rumoured that it was certain senior pro's (who have long since retired) Is it Dhoni? Or just the board and the cost?
The only person in the team whose opinion they'd give two ****s about would be Dhoni's, so unless he's really against it, at this point I think it's just a few dumb ****s in the board.

So would anyone here send Bell in next knowing he has the knock and a couple more tests are coming back to back?

I wouldn't risk it.

Any declaration later than tea will rile me
Apart from Beefy the consensus there was half an hour after tea.......like you that will seriously piss me off. We should be able to get the lead up to 430 in an hour and half........surely that's plenty?

I think they'll go for 460-75

Beefy would have declared already.

Being 1-0 down in the series will affect the decision too, if we were 1 or 2 up then an early declaration wouldn't be as much of a gamble.

I'm looking at it the complete opposite.

To me this is a must win test, not just for this series but for the team going forward. This is the best 4 days we've strung together in 12 months, to do that and not win it will be a massive kick in the guts. Conversely if they do win it will break a horror streak, out of form players have got runs and they will believe in themselves again.

I want to see them throw everything at going for the win.........a draw will be no better than a loss for this team IMO.

Buttler in at the fall of the next wicket, tell him to go nuts until tea. Come out after, bat for an over to troll Jadeja and co., then declare.

Loses an additional 4 overs, but given the last session always ends up being 34-ish overs anyway, that still leaves 120 on the table to bowl India out in. Plus the Michael Clarke school of trolling is brilliant IMO.

I agree 100%, I just think that's what they will be thinking, too scared to lose and all that.
