Bell was out yesterday, decision wernt given. India have had the worse of the umpiring decisions so far this series as well.
Hopefully we say yes to DRS soon though I like it!

450+ coming for England, pitch is offering turn.

To be fair with DRS Bell would have been out LBW for 0...

And Ballance possibly caught behind for 10
Exactly and no one is saying any different. It's not about who has had the better or worse of no DRS here it's about getting the decisions right.

It was a terrific delivery but I reckon there was 3 inches between bat and ball........definitely a howler in my book.
Fair enough. It's just that it's easy to mistake a deflection of the thigh pad for an edge, imho. We've seen far worse, not?

Yeah. DRS has been excellent in the last year or so, and helped improve correct decision percentages massively. So it's ridiculous that it's not implemented around the world. No other sport in the world allows a team to play the game with different rules to everyone else. It's ludicrous.

The advent of a fast snicko has been a real help.

Yeah for sure we've seen worse and yeah it is hard for the umpires to pick those sometimes. Now if only we had a system to safeguard against it......

Agreed, it's been an absolute god send. Going back 12 months ago with no snicko DRS was not working to it's potential, tbh during last summers Ashes it was a ****ing joke.

Now it is heaps better and it needs to be used in every test match everywhere in the world. End of.

That's a stinker from Tucker. Standard of umpiring this series has been dire for both sides.

DRS will come though, BCCI look like a bigger pack of morons with every decision. Want to be on 450 by tea, with a 550 declaration to give us at least 10 overs at them before close IMO.

Sad thing is the umpiring standard is better this summer than last.

450 by tea should be a minimum really. They scored 111-1 off 29 overs in the morning session. The lower order should be licking their lips at being able to play an attacking game, under no real pressure.

I would wait and see with the declaration, it's a difficult one to gauge.

England players should just do the review signal anyway to get in good habits. They'll come to a series later where they can use it and someone will forget. I'm sure if they have a word with the umpires before the match they'll understand.
Remember when Shaun Marsh forgot about it on his debut (might've been second game). What a moment.

Who'd have thought before the series that we'd miss Ishant badly when he's injured. How's the pitch though? Haven't seen a ball so don't know if it's just our usual dross or a genuinely lifeless pitch .
