Bhuv was still more important to this test and it fits with Ishant's pattern of only doing decently in very helpful conditions but yeah, definitely accept humble pie for this test alone.

He's bowled well before in tests once in two years but he's never done anything close to as amazing.
Rahane more important than both surely

Well played India, thoroughly deserved the win. Had the worst of the conditions and totally outplayed us by winning the big moments.

England, well what can you say. Cook has to go, probably out of the side too for a while as he is mentally gone. Tomorrow we will probably lose Anderson for the series so if we can drop Prior we are almost going in with a brand new side compared to last summer.

"One of the best spells by an Indian fast bowler" Really? It's not been that good. At least 4 of his wickets have been down to god awful batting.

Excellent performance from Ishant..has bowled quickly and his short ball has been spot on in terms of accuracy..

Awful after lunch. Just dire.

Bowling has let us down terribly this game and the batting hasn't been far behind. Few bright spots (Ballance, Root, flashes from Ali) but on the whole really appaulling. Needed root and branch changes and we have only made tweaks. A mindset overhaul is really what we need, more aggression + a different style of play. Full credit to India though, they have won the big moments. Ishant shutting up his haters (myself included).

He hasn't tried a single yorker.. batsmen have been able to sit on the back foot and pick their spot. And four of them haven't been up to it...

Cook, Stokes and Prior all have to go. Anderson should probably have a rest too, even if he doesn't have one enforced upon him. The young blood have done OK this series - just treat the rest of the summer as a development series and if England manage to turn the series around, then treat that as a bonus.
