***Official*** India in England 2014

I still reckon it's wide open tbh. 60-40 India's way by my reckoning, but that can change so, so quickly.

Never thought I'd utter this sentence, but I wonder what WASP would say about this.

I know that it's India overseas and all but these fourth innings chases do have a habit of changing in an almighty hurry so I wouldn't be despairing yet
Yeah you get a quiet period when the ball is this old in almost every innings in England. Second new ball is the important spell.

Yeah true, so many times the team looks like they're coasting and then suddenly one wicket leads to 2-3 more. Lanka vs SA is a good example.

But as you said, India overseas is more like lolndia.
As was NZ v India at Eden Park :p

Was thinking more Durham to be honest. 1/150 or something then bam.

I don't see how England aren't at the very least slight favourites now. 150 to get with the sort of tail England have doesn't look that intimidating. Especially with the pacers barely able to threaten the batsmen.

If we don't get 2-3 quick wickets with the new ball we'll lose.

With Cook, Bell and Prior playing like ****s we've needed the younger players to step up, and Root has stepped up more than anyone else. Averaging just shy of 120 this year, and has been brilliant. Him and Ballance have been awesome.
