Bad drop there, but Cook fails yet again. Back to Essex for some runs could do him a world of good. Would be a ballsy move but I'm not sure what the downside is tbh.

Shesh last 3 or 4 deliveries adding a lot of credibility to the idea that these are two pretty **** sides aye.

Not sure that will do any good though. He'll just go back and start smashing Div 2 attacks like he was at the start of the season.......not sure how long we can keep carrying him but the only way he'll get "fixed" is playing test cricket IMO.

He just needs to grind out the ugliest innings imaginable and get a score. I'm sure if he could somehow drag himself to a hundred he'd be back.

Would he though? His technique outside off isn't going to change...
