Yeah Binny clearly in as a batsman who rolls his arm over but really unnecessary. If you are that worried about the tail, R Ashwin has proven a useful bat anyway.

Ashwin is better than that, not so long ago people semi-seriously claimed he should bat ahead of Dhoni. Has taken wickets against us before as well.

Damn, I've just thought what you must be going through with all this, Teja.

I'm basking in it
Ishant Sharma taking three wickets in a spell and James Anderson about to ton up, this might just be the most painful test I've witnessed.

Indeed. Also Bhuvneshwar Kumar. And on a pitch this flat, they don't need a full batsman below five if they're doing well with the bat. And they're poor with the ball.

Joe Root's brother Billy got a double hundred on Monday. Last time he did that Joe got one in a test. Doubt Jimmy can hang around that long.

Each of the Indian bowlers, particularly the three lead seamers, has bowled an obnoxiously large amount of overs. You do not overbowl your prime pace bowlers like this! Will the Indian team management ever realise? There's no way they'll ever solve their fast bowler problem and breed quality bowlers if they keep rolling down 30 overs an innings!
If they were quality they wouldn't be sending down 30 overs.
