Maybe. But we went a whole year where every 1,000 event was won by either Djokovic or Nadal, just a couple of months ago. Grass isn't any of the big three's top surface and never has been, so I'm not sure how much of it is an overall dip.

Oz Open still played on grass is it? TBH it has been Murray's best surface over the last couple of years. His best final in grand-slams up to then, quickly followed by the Olympics, Queens then Wimbledon.

I just think they're not at the same level of omnipotence that they seemed to be for a while there. Wouldn't at all surprise me if Djok wins this and one of them win the USOpen, but apart from on clay, the field seems to be narrowing.

Grecian is right about Novak but I think Murray's just not hit the same level since his injury.

Rafa is interesting because he made 3 Slam finals in a row, 2 of which were this year, but then has lost at the 1000s and 500s to players he usually wouldn't.

So on the whole grecian is right you'd say, but mainly because of Novak, who tends to let players outside the big 3-4 into the match more than he did from 2011-2013.

Obviously he is incredibly gifted but IMO he has been very lucky to be at the top of his game when Fed is on the wane, Rafa suffering injuries and before the young giants reach their peak

That is the worst opinion ever.

Injuries were not affecting Rafa in 2011. He was in career best form heading into that year. And Novak just became way better - a level no one has reached.

And who are these young giants? Raonic and Nishikori will not come close to what Djokovic is. So other than Dimitrov, who are these so called future greats?
