Since your team is called 'The Anderson Cummins Invite XI' then I suppose that you'll be looking at replacing Loxton during the last round?

Good question. Probably not. Loxton is a much more valuable player than Cummins, and Cummins can run the drinks. \

I don't know heaps about Loxton tbh (apart from he was an Invisibles all rounder and he also played AFL), but I've always been curious as to why he didn't play more tests.

I know he and Harvey were very good friends.

Definitely feel like I lost out a little in that first question.

A Marshall/Garner/Akram (especially) would have really strengthened my team, but I guess I can't complain about Merv.

I tend to agree. Loxton seems like a gutsy Test batsman while Cummins seems better suited for an ODI team (SR = 41.3)

1. Hanif Mohammad
2. Trevor Goddard
3. Bill Edrich
4. Frank Woolley
5. Keith Miller
6. Shakib al Hasan
7. Gilbert Jessop
8. Harry Butt
9. Merv Hughes
10. Murali
11. Bishan Bedi

Posting without any stats because they make my team look much worse, but I'm fairly happy with it so far.

Merv and Miller to share the new ball, with Jessop and Goddard as back up seam options for a green pitch, and the potential for Edrich to fill in too. Murali and Bedi should be pretty good on any turning pitches, especially with Woolley and Shakib to cover when they get tired. The glut of bowlers also means that the allrounders who the pitch doesn't suit can have a rest and focus on their batting.

Batting wise the team's a little weak, relying on a lot of all rounders. But Woolley and Jessop are two of the fastest scorers ever which contrasts nicely with the harderned Edrich and Hanif Mohammad. Jessop at 7 is probably a place to high, but hopefully I can pick up a better keeper in the final round.

ha, trust me I as tempted, but I like Aggers so it's good he gets a run with someone.

If no one gives Valer a sheep in the next hour, he gets to pick any of the listed sheep options..

I don't think I made enough questions this time around where good, solid cricketers were the best options..
