Shows you how bad Neesham's bowling has been in this match when Wayner is at shorter odds them him and he's not even playing.

Anyway, Blocky's been tasting all match so I expect us to score an even 200 for the day for the loss of 3 wickets.

Showers around but chance of precipitation is only 50%.

Tough work ahead obviously. Even if NZ can somehow get through the day 4 losing just 6 wickets & be 7 down at stumps with a lead of around 100 runs, the Windies will still be hot favourites, unless of course there's a fair amount of rain around. I note the forecast suggest a 40% chance of rain in the next two days.

Would take that any day of the week. Just a shame in retrospect that the one wicket lost is McCullum's.
Anyone else think McCullums was a lot less straight than Hotspot suggested?

Sorry Ian Taylor, if you're reading. I know you have feelings

McCullum's overseas form has been awful for a long time now :/. NZ pitches are often roads these days but last summer there was plenty in them for the bowlers at times and anyone who can score so heavily under pressure at home should be able to score a bit more away from home than he is.

I don't know how to explain it. Maybe our position wasn't quite dire enough for a h4x double hundred when he went into bat.

I thought it was going down leg when I saw it live. But the 1st replay showed it was absolutely plumb as the ball had started swinging back into him. Hawkeye just confirmed it.

Also keep in mind that the cameras from which we view play aren't directly behind the stumps. I'd guess we were viewing from slightly towards midoff

Only somewhat on topic but I wish they would give us the option of how to watch the cricket game on tv, I wouldn't mind watching a few games from behind the batsman. I feel like I am batting then.

I also think that the fact that McCullum was almost head butting point probably made the lbw look more leg side than it was.

That said, for as well as Craig bowled in the first test Sodhi has just as many wickets as he does at a far better average and a very similar RPO.
That's all to do with McCullum confidence tricks itbt.

Craig may prove a bit of a place-holding Plunket Shield guy with a banter-orientated Antonie Dixon haircut, but's he got some credit up his sleeve before he's 7/638 (153 ov) vs. top 6 batsmen in his career. Currently I make him 5/171 (39 ov.).

Unplayable ball to Latham. Can't criticise the batsman for that one.
Very soft dismissal for Williamson.
Great catch to get Neesham.
