Not a great fan of one day performances being a way of picking the test team but seeing as I am happy for Jordan to get a chance then for once I will accept it. Can't ask any more than this display.

We could well be calling time on Bresnan as an England player soon, Jordan seems to have the X factor (hate that phrase) that Bres lacks.

Thoroughly well done to England who outplayed us tonight and fully deserved this win.. Now..I don't mind us losing ( as no team has a divine right to win) however I am extremely p*****d off at this abject surrender by our team??the shot selection was " amateur" at best and the line up was wrong IMHO as kulasekara has been poor and as has lakmal. I would have liked to see Eranga instead of lakmal and a spinning AR instead of kula...onwards and upwards and I am hoping the weather will hold for the next two games as I am going to see them- again I smoke tasking nothing away from England but I expect a lot better from my team.
