To do that you probably have to drop Bopara to bring in Broad and go with 5 genuine bowlers plus Root.

Can't see that happening.

I think he would do well in the WC.. Eng have to figure out how to get Hales in the team and they will actually have a good batting unit for ODIs.. bowling is a worry though.

Further rain will help England IMO. A shorter innings while keeping the wicket fresh will help Bopara cover his weaknesses at 4th seamer.
