Just the INDIA criteria to go.

According to the ICC, Hadlee peaked in 11/1985 during his famous tour of Australia, and Miandad peaked in 2/1989. So I believe that they both meet the > 1985 criteria. Incidently, Richards and Holding both peaked during1981.

MONK?

Dempster seems to be an underated player to me because he didn't play too many Test matches. However, in the Test matches that he did manage to play he averaged 65.72. Also, he had a productive career in English County cricket (184 games) with Leistershire. Curiously, he opened the batting when representing NZ, but normally batted at No.4 for Leistershire. I reckon that you could bat him in either position and be right.

I can't find much about his technique against fast bowling, but he seems to be somewhat of a specialist against spin bowlers on 'sticky' wickets due to his quick and nimble footwork.
