Indian Premier League 2014

RCB come to Mumbai. I do hope they swap Ashok Dinda with Abu Nechim for this game, and field a pace attack of Starc-Aaron-Rampaul-Nechim, with Chahal as their spinner. That will be, on form, a strong bowling attack. Yuvraj jibes notwithstanding, they'll do themselves a great favour by replacing Parthiv Patel with Vijay Zol.

Mumbai, on the other hand, still need to get rid of Corey or Pollard, and play the other as a specialist batsman. Both are clear-cut weaknesss in the bowling attack. Keeping Santokie on the bench makes no sense. They need to find a way to fit in Pawan Suyal, surely at the expense of one of Harbhajan, Zaheer and Ojha- all of whom are having a terrible tournament.

Lol. Probably the two best hitters in the world atm on form. Sure lets drop one. Santoki, Malinga, Anderson and KPo should be their overseas players really. Malinga+Santokie=8 overs for 48-56 runs guaranteed. Even if the rest of the bowlers concede 100 off 12 overs, 150-160 is a chaseable target.

Yeah if they want to strengthen the bowling then they've got to drop Dunk and Bumrash and bring in Marathe and Santokie. They've really ****ed themselves over with a horrendous draft and poor retentions. If they didn't retain guys like Bhajji and Rayudu they would have been able to get them back at a lower cost using the right to match card thingy.

Why would you drop Pollard? He has been in great form last few games. Anderson played a nice little cameo the last game that helped them claw their way back in. If anything drop Dunk for Santokie and drop a Indian bowler for a Indian batsman.

RCB's batting line-up is like a dream... #1 current test + odi + franchise t20 batsman in AB, #1 current t20i batsman in Kohli, #1 overall career franchise t20 batsman in Gayle:

And they still manage to fk it up most of the time.

and with all the batting firepower RCB still just flounders.. they made a mistake buying Yuvraj for that much.

Gezzz just watched the Pollard bat throwing spat, did it slip or did he decide at the last moment he would get in sh*t if he threw it? Man lucky either way as it would of sconed Starc for sure, I don't think I have ever seen anything as dramatic as that in a long time in a cricket match, maybe since Miandad.

Piss poor from both players but Starc the one most at fault. Bowled the ball clearly at Pollard deliberately.
