All Formats Draft

Gonna vote for Joe purely based on his good logic earlier in the thread and the fact that he's actually bothering to post three separate batting orders. Way ahead of the game here.
Im not bothering because my XIs currently match up perfectly across formats :p
Who needs a twelfth man?

Hayden was my next pick. Now I'm completely screwed for openers. Might have to get very, very creative here, though it doubtless will cost me the draft in terms of the popular vote*
Also wanted Davidson as well, tbh.

*Spoilers: Picking Sreesanth as an opening batsman

I agree that Joe has a very nice team thus far. But we're not even half way through the draft yet, so not so fast.

Mitchell Johnson.

Mitch-Procter-Murali-Vettori. Good luck creating a form of cricket in which that attack isn't gun.

best t20 team
best odi team
best test team
team youd most like to watch
best team overall
most likeable team
best team if you extrapolated their domestic stats to a tendulkar length career
probably missed a few

Ajmal a great pick. These are the sort of players who belong in all format teams, not great who didn't even play one or even two of the formats. Howezat's team the best for me

Gayle and Warner opening the batting, and McGrath opening the bowling with Malinga is outrageous!

Must admit that there's quite a few teams on show that are are just plain cool, even if they haven't been clinically executed.

Swashbuckling outfit.

I was in a quandary in selecting between Andy Roberts and Saeed Ajmal in my pick last round. In the end, I went for the pacer believing that perhaps the opportunity cost of not picking him was greater. I am not so sure now. Ajmal does provide stupendous class in all three formats.

On a serious note probably could have votes for best Test, ODI and T20 teams and then between them vote for the best over all team. Just a suggestion though.

On these draft orders though, I can't catch a break.

Yeah, after the first couple of rounds it is the thing you really want.

This draft is hard though, normally I know roughly what sort of player I am going to pick for the next few rounds, no idea with this one.

At this stage in the game it's definitely a bonus to have your picks close together.
Not really, as the next player is important to my team, and I took a calculated gamble that he would still be available by Round 5. Would have preferred that I didn't have to watch 22 picks go by as the odds are that he'll get taken, and I'd prefer not to use my backup even though there's not much between the three players IMO.

Incidently, you have to take the odd risk in order to get a good team. Plus it makes things more exciting.
