think we've been through this a few times but he's had about the shortest leash of any NZ bowler, and has never, ever bowled in conditions to suit him.
If there was an unlike button I would press it. Yes he was usually twelfth man behind Dan but he got a fair few games in SC conditions.

when he failed Vettori also failed. SC conditions doesn't necessarily mean it's helpful to spin bowlers. During that period it just meant extremely flat wickets so guys like Jayawardene could pad their stats. And then obviously Murali etc could take wickets on any deck against NZ batsmen who have a heart attack playing any slow bowling whatsoever.

Still reckon that if we ever take a 2nd spinner on tour, Jeets should be the first choice.
Yeah, Dom Post article mentioned 2 spinners would be useful in the Windies and mentioned Astle and B Martin. Patel should be first choice spinner.

Just put my remaining $7 in TAB account on ND at $2.80.

On radio it is. Sky's doing this game ftr.
Yeah, no Sky in this household. The commentary on radio was certainly v low key on the Sodhi bowled dismissal.

Do the radio guys know the microphone is still on while they're having lunch? Cat Stevens playing softly in the background.

Step up your game.

Took 11/390 in the four Indian/Sri Lankan Tests. "My daughter would prefer a puppy that ****s on the carpet, rather than a dog that's just....blah" is basically where New Zealand is at with Jeets.

Wellington to be slowly choked off by the ND spinners. Jono Boult did well on this pitch in the HRV Cup too.

Really impressed by Santner with bat and ball today. Definite international prospect.

Good to see BJ showing solidarity with his keeper's union mate Ronchi by dropping a sitter.
