No it would take an specific sequence of results for South Africa to go out if they beat England. Sri Lanka would need to beat England, NZ would need to beat Sri Lanka and Netherlands.

so England win the toss and bowl first, no surprise there..unchanged teams too..lets see what happens,England are a dangerous team as they are in a must win scenario but i hope that our team comes through. I am a little surprised that we didnt add another spinner, in maybe priyanjan instead of thissara as the England Batsmen will play our pacers with ease..good luck both teams...

England can still qualify if they lose, but they'd obviously need to beat SA and for Sri Lanka to beat NZ. Then it would go to NRR, NZ would have a slight advantage in knowing exactly what the NRR situation was going into their final game.
