That he did. He's popped up in quite a few of my teams. He's also noted as an exceptional fielder, particularly at cover point, and hit over 11000 runs for Yorkshire. He'd bat at 8 in most teams. For those reasons I hold him above(just) the likes of Briggs, Blythe and Peate.Just OHNO to pick before Round 11 is revealed.
I think that Donald-Pollock-Davidson-Peel-Hammond should get a mention too.
Peel bowled slow left-arm orthodox didn't he Blakus? Without looking it up I think he sits between Peate and Rhodes in the pantheon of great Yorkshire left-armers.
On English pitches Colin Blythe's record is superb which is why Wally Hammond thought that he was the best of all the left-arm spinners. However, his two tours to Australia were not great, Therefore, Peel or Briggs are probably better choices overall I reckon. Good pick Blakus. That he did. He's popped up in quite a few of my teams. I was about to agree then realised you were referring to draft order. Regardless, you've overcome that to draft a fantastic team mate.FOREVER BOTTOM!
AldoRaine, it's getting late in your part of the world. So if your pick is going to be from the 1900s then you may as well take your turn now as this won't effect Kyear. Must be from the 1900s though as you and Kyear are still contesting the 1890s.Whose turn?
