When I took Johnson, I was struggling to choose between him and Philander. Good choice. In the end I wanted someone slightly more explosive, but Philander slots in nicely to your team.

Would be interesting to compare Philander to CTB Turner. I imagine Turner as similar to Philander.

Colin Cowdrey (1930s) will slot nicely in to my XI, and add a heap to my slips cordon as well. Adds to my gentlemanly factor also, with Arthur Morris and him ensuring that manners are present in the dressing room. Quite happy as he is one of my favourite cricketers...
