The Best of Each Decade Birthday DRAFT

AldoRaine18

State Vice-Captain
Please save your analysis of the teams for the Voting thread as it's not a good idea to enter into any debates in the middle of the Draft. :)
How do you plan to do the voting, mate? Would it be a single poll with all 14 teams in it?

**** was really hoping to be down the bottom of the order as any choice here is going to be massively restricting.

I made a suggestion recently to have 2 Groups of 7, followed by Semi Finals, and a Grand Final. The details are in the following thread below. Feel free to comment in that thread.

Traditionally Aldoraine, we have a single Voting thread where all the teams are listed and people vote for their favourite 3 teams. At this stage we will probably go with tradition unless there is extra sudden support for the more complex system.

Well played CTD. Now look forward to Fred's pick as it's difficult to split your two teams at this point.

Cheers chaps. Might have to wait for Mr Fertang, as it's past his bedtime in the UK. Maybe he'll have to get up to pee and surprise us.

Slightly worrying that you know my bladder so well Dave, however neither you nor your able assistant Dr Watson are going to lure me into the discourtesy/possible disqualificaion of voting out of turn!

In fact I will jump in, in the interests of keeping things moving, because Jake has already picked from the 1920s so I couldn't step on his toes anyway. As I only have room for one spinner I'm going for one with two styles and who, if you are a slave to averages, is the best of them all - add in the fact that to have a decent team you need to have a Yorkie and I'm amazed he's still available

If all goes according to plan with your last two picks Kyear, then it's very likely that you'll end up with a very well balanced team with a solid batting line-up led by Richards, and a good variety of bowlers led by Lillee and Laker. Very interested to see who'll you get for that No.7 spot.

I think our bladders are of similar vintage.

EDIT: and retention duration.
