Gregory was an outstanding cricketer wasn't he. I recall Ian Chappell saying once that there have only been a handful of players who would be selected on their bowling only, but were selectable also as a top six batsman only. I think those he listed were Sobers, Botham, Miller and Gregory (and possibly Imran).
