The first four rounds generally represent the crème of the ATGs, and so it's probably worthwhile having a quick retrospective. The most popular decade chosen to source players from was the 1950s. This translates roughly to the period - 1970 to 1990. Most generations tend to judge themselves harshly, and we are no different with only a single player being selected from the 1980s onwards;
