Do the first innings points secure a final spot for NSW?
Doesn't guarantee it, I don't think. NSW now can't end up with less than 28 points, but both WA and SA can still hypothetically end up with 32, and QLD can hit 28 with (presumably) a better quotient. NSW can hypothetically finish as low as fourth, if I'm reading the table right.

If QLD wins outright, they move to 28 points with a better quotient than NSW. If SA win on first innings, they move to 28 as well, presumably with a better quotient than NSW.

Yeah Bl00s need to finish the job to make a bird of it. If they let WA back into the game they can still miss out.

Baseball ****s

and yeah NSW will want a lot more than just a 60 odd run lead to feel confident.
