Radio interview today on SEN with Ryan Harris:
Harris: Graeme Smith was mouthing off at us while he was batting.
Interviewer: Did you give him some back?
Harris: Would have. But he wasn't around long enough.
Interviewer: Did you have a few beers with the South Africans after the 3rd test?
Harris: Robin Petersen was the only South African who turned up for a drink. Disappointing, but they were headed out to a Greame Smith retirement function that night.
Interviewer: Why can't we seem to get the ball reverse swinging?
Harris: We got it going at times. The 2nd test ball looked just right for reversing, but for some reason it just wouldn't go? Balls just seem to vary from one to the next.
Interviewer: How is the knee going now that you have had a chance to rest it.
Harris: It got worse on the plane coming home. Started to lock up. Operation next week to shave some off.
Interviewer: So where will that leave you after the op?
Harris: Hopefully much freer and I want to go on.
Interviewer: How did that last spell feel in the 3rd test?
Harris: I was hoping Clarkey wouldn't pick me. But he did. Lucky I had been stretching and had the Voltarin. I was a bit numb.
