Norwood's on Fire
If Arsenal can stay in touch over the next 4 games we've got a piss easy run in. Have no idea why Arsenal are as long odds as they are.
Probably because their performances have been a level below the other three in the past couple of months but in particular that mauling at Anfield. I'd definitely have Liverpool at shorter odds at this point given their record at home and the fact City and Chavs have to go there but there's no denying Arsenal's odds are generous

Sadly the league's now Chelsea's to throw away but the odds being offered on Arsenal are ridiculous.

edit: the one thing that might trip Chelsea up is the Champions League.

Think it is 50/50 right now, is definetly not Chelsea's to throw away. The gap is a big one for sure but there is no reason that City can't with those games in hand.

As Furball mentioned the champions league means that the fixture congestion will be evened out somewhat. Is worth noting that Barca lost again yesterday, a City win is very unlikely but I don't think it is impossible.

LOL, yeh, get through the next few fixtures and you'll be dandy.

March 11: Bayern v Arsenal
March 16: Tottenham v Arsenal
March 22: Chelsea v Arsenal
March 25: Arsenal v Swansea
March 29: Arsenal v City
April 06: Everton v Arsenal

Probably made a bit worse by losing Wilshire, but yeh, still generous. Still don't think it's wrong though. If I were to bet on a top 4 right now Arsenal would be 4th.

Problem for Citeh is that their away form sucks massive hairy balls and they still have to go to United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton. And they're not playing very well lately either.

It feels like they had their chance, but threw away points against **** teams in the first half of the season when they were playing by far the best football out of anyone. Needs to be something really special to salvage it from here. Maybe if Demichelis gets injured.

Oh yeah still got big fan base, more than Wigan for sure.

I can't believe City won't pull this back but would be so happy for Rosler.

Jeez, only just put a stream on and City already have had four or five great chances in the last two or three minutes.Edit: **** sake.

Relevance of the Bayern game to the league is what, exactly?

And you've made my point for me anyway.
You don't think having to play a really tough opponent every 3-4 days for the good portion of a month is going to affect your team's performances? Arsenal aren't particularly great at the moment and any momentum you have will probably be lost. By the time you get to the last phase of the season, where you have easier games, your season will probably be over. If you win even half those games you've done well, and that'll still put you guys out of the race.

Incredible, proper cup football. Stirs the soul. No matter how much I hate Wigan's chairman, gotta love that type of tie.

:laugh::laugh:

**** off City.

Only slightly irritating thing about this is it simplifies Arsenal's job to finally end their drought but on the other hand it just makes the potential for it being even funnier if they still fail.
