This happened anyway. Was really looking forward to these two bowling lineups trying to kill each other
umm everybody recognized Australia's bowling prowess in Eng and nobody really said the 3-0 score was fair indication of the actual cricket played in the series.Ryan Harris had given a much better performance in England in the Ashes series. Was disheartening to see that no one talked much about him or gave an aging pacer(who was constantly battling with injuries) some credit for an exceptional performance, most people were interested in criticizing the Aussie team and discussing who is to be blamed for what. His overall performance in the series was one of the finest ever, I don't care if it was in a losing cause, it wasnt his fault that others around him were playing rubbish cricket. Sad that such a fabulous performance went unnoticed.
It was a fair indication of the actual cricket. Australia's batting, with the exception of Old Trafford, was absolute ****.umm everybody recognized Australia's bowling prowess in Eng and nobody really said the 3-0 score was fair indication of the actual cricket played in the series.
Oval?It was a fair indication of the actual cricket. Australia's batting, with the exception of Old Trafford, was absolute ****.
Nah, problem was none of the tests were all that close, it was close as a series but it ended up being a straight forward 'bat first, bat big, win game' seriesBoth teams battered, bruised, and dead on their feet. Three Test matches full of achievements worthy of ATG status. Surely one of the best 3 match series on record?
Yeah, this series was crap. I'm so disappointed it wasn't more one sided.3 Test series are crap.
Harris, definitely my favourite cricketer at the moment.... feel so sorry for him that he'll spend his late years walking with canes....
Every pull shot for 4 was a dagger to my heart.Btw, interested in Jono's thoughts on Vernon's knock
