The biggest thing to come out of the Warner thing is that the match fee for overseas test for Australian players is $19,200. Decent going.

Would love to read Chappelli's writings on how Warner should be captain because of his attacking instincts, instead of *insert captain of the time here*

State Vice-Captain
Well, most of the Nein drones are pining for Das Warnerkind to get the captaincy -- hence all those "voluntary" interviews we saw over the summer given through the kindness of his heart, which in reality were cheap PR stunts designed to repair his ailing image.

In-form Cobras off-spinner, Dane Piedt , along with Beuran Hendricks trained with the Proteas today.

Harmer seems to have his nose in front but I don't think he can relax. In the 50-over comp, I remember Piedt bowled a karom-ball type delivery a couple of times. He said he was working on variations as he is an orthodox spinner.

G. Kirsten, Boucher and Paul Harris also made contributions to the practice sessions today.

Had a dream last night that Graeme Smith got pinged in the third test the same way as he did in the first innings of the first test.
