ABdV is in my books the best batsman in the world at the moment, even leaving aside his ODI and T20 accomplishments. Everything looks good when he plays, and especially when he turns it on. Wonderfully stylish, though perhaps less wristy than I usually like my favorite batsmen to be.

reckon amla's been flashing at a lot of balls too close to his body than he normally would. his 2nd innings dismissal a prime example of it, and it wasn't the only time during the test he either played and missed in a similar way or edged it but over the slips
