Yeah, that was a bit classless.

Anyhow. I've been thinking. The biggest concern is really our bowlers. We should have got these batsmen out for under 300. This is the type of pitch where we really need Morkel to be world class, and he just never is.

Yeah, it is worth asking how you let us rack up 3/280 odd on that deck. SA haven't batted badly here, but they're 5 down...

The biggest difference between Australia and other sides right now is Johnson. Captains need to be cruel and ask their express bowlers to cause him grievous hurt when he comes out to bat. Way things are right now, he is going to destroy everybody in sight for the next year or so before tapering off into the sunset. He'll still be one of the greatest, most enigmatic ****s to have held a cricket ball though.

Philander is never going to hurt anyone and Steyn doesn't have the steep bounce so is easier to pick up. We need Morkel to hurt people and he's never done it - ever. What's the point of a tall fast bowler that runs in and throws it down if they are not willing to be aggressive?

Really seeing now though why old-timers tend overwhelmingly to rate the old WI side as the greatest. One bowler like this with modern protective equipment is brutal enough.

Are they rating these fastbowlers based on emotions or on facts?

Johnson factor does make this Australian bowling lineup the best in the world.
