**** how a guy like Robbie P can play test cricket as a specialist spin bowler is total bull ****.

Doubt he's playing as a specialist spinner, it seems he's playing because he can bat a bit and has more chance of holding up an end than the manager of the smorgasbord Tahir.

But they already have one Duminy, they don't need two.

He genuinely looks like a batsman who bowls a few offies
To be fair to him he often looks like that when he bats too. Doesn't always make runs but regularly looks quite the part.

I get the feeling he's been told all his life that he's spinner because genuine spinners are in South Africa and he could've played above his ability when he was younger in the spinner's role, given he could add something with the bat and count towards the transformation quota. He has much more ability with the bat than the ball however. He's not even the best spinner in the team today.

I've got respect for Peterson, as he's been able to make a career out of having the most unthreatening stock ball in world cricket. He's actually got a decent cricketing brain and knows how to set a field to support his limitations.

But geez, an in batsman looks like he can play him with with a bail.
