It's late morning in RSA and Garson's 18 hours are overdue. So I'm going for Conrad Hunte (44 Tests). That may be a strategic mistake this late in the Draft but he's too good a batsman to miss out on.

Yes I was convinced that you'd pick Conrad Hunte in Round 8. Although Nurse is still an excellent choice and obviously a favourite player of yours because you have picked him before in other Drafts.

However, after spending 44 Tests on Hunte I have only 65 Tests with which to play during the next two rounds. It's going to be difficult getting a decent No.5 and a decent Keeper with that sort of budget, especially as I'm near the bottom of the list for both Rounds 10 and 11. Have to do a little homework I think.

That depends on whether you would like them to bat or not.

Up until Ames, or even later, Keepers weren't expected to make runs, that was the job of the batsman and bowling allrounders. They were all specialist Keepers.

I would actually open with Procter and Lillee over Roberts.

Your bowling attack looks complete. Would actually be trying to bolster the batting depth.
