Yeah, looking at it now, that makes sense. What I was probably thinking was that the more data you have the least amount of difference between median and mean. But, that would depend on the distribution of the data, wouldn't it. So that wouldn't be true either.


How about I say that the more innings you have the more time it takes to find the median on cricinfo (innings in order, count to the middle), so just use the ****ing average. Yeah, that's what I meant. :p

He's using the median to assess consistency, which is not unfair IMO. Could use standard deviation or something.
