***Official*** India in New Zealand 2013/14

This is why accelerating towards the end is such a **** tactic
It's a good tactic as long as your set batsman don't get out the way that Williamson and Taylor did. Having said that, NZ still did a reasonable job of getting up to a decent total. 100 of 10 is great, but 130 off 10 could have been better. Still sub-par, but all it takes is a good bowling effort.

292 is more than respectable even if it is 20 runs light. We are in with a **** show of winning it and have 3 good seamers if Milne turns up.

I definitely got my sky TV subscription value for the month out of that innings anyway due to Corey's efforts.

Nah, i mean going at around 4 an over for the first 35 and then relying on accelerating to get you to a good score. Never works against good death bowling.

Between them, Guptill & Taylor scored 63 off 105 deliveries, the rest were actually good. (NcCullum's shocker aside).

We were up against two good spinners who bowled well so some credit has to go to India.

yeah and their field sets during the middle overs were good and they bowled well to them.

Had either of Taylor or Williamson stayed in we'd have another 20 runs.

Nah, disagree. Had they stayed in longer, we wouldn't have got 292. They'd just be using up the deliveries of McCullum, Anderson, and Ronchi.

Why this **** Ishant Sharma is still playing? Isn't he embarrassed being the most expensive bowler game after game.

yeah we were, but we didn't exactly try to put any pressure on them either. Of course that brings the risk of losing wickets, so its 50/50 i guess

Yeah 97% of you reported either a strong or very strong desire to see a new Cairns.

They went too far when they tried to fob off Ronchi as 'New Gilchrist', but otherwise NZC really starting to fake it till they've made it with the New Bond, Warne and Cairns Initiative. "Bought In, Brung On, Done Good".
