Pretty late on Ferguson and short of scoring options, Stags. No wonder the CEO who wasn't hip to "shots off both feet" is now taking out his frustration in club games.

That first wicket was appalling. If you're at Provincial U/19 level there is no way you should be backing away. Assuming this is in chronological order and he was a specialist bat, in fairness. Could understand it if it were a fast bowler who's an absolute shunt with the bat.

That makes it even worse. As an opening bat, irrespective of format, age or experience, you cannot be doing that against a bowler.
Yeah Cleaver's sort of the wicket-keeping cousin of Kane Williamson I think. CD were such a poor squad (for T20) they were left trying to get a few cheeky chappie openers away this season, like Trego.

The pig paying 6.50 for top scorer is good value against this attack. Wilson and Devcich down early, Styris dominates the spinners.

Quite a few if the U19 ODI squad haven't played a match in this national U19 tournament (ODonnell, Hicks, Hunter). Is there differing age thresholds for the 2 tournaments?

Generally good areas, with a few excellent deliveries each. Both unlucky to come up against Flynn in hoick mode and Dev**** in lol-hit-out mode. Bennet was down on pace a bit though, didn't clock above mid 130s and didn't look it either.

Loving this innings from KW. He doesn't have the power to really slog all the time so when he makes a score in 20/20 it's usually from a mixture of well placed singles and finding the gaps to the boundary.

From a Champions League point of veiw where hopefully the side we send will be full strength and not pillaged by the IPL, Otago, ND and Auckland have the best full strength teams by a distance. What I'm saying here is *shudder* I want ND to make the final ahead of Canterbury. Canterbury have half a good CL T20 side imo, and the marquee batsmen are more suited to 4 day cricket.

Glad to see Chris Tremain is still as much of a weapon as he was as a 17 year old. Looks to have added a yard or two though.
