Injured himself in Aus (hamstring), then recovered, then injured again (foot) before the CT, then I lost track, but he's been ruled out this series due to an ankle injury, and he hasn't been playing cricket back in Sri Lanka. While this new look pace attack is very promising, Welegedara is still probably the best exponent of reverse swing (bar Malinga possibly) in the country.

Can't buy any luck can he? Such a shame because he looked like he was turning a corner and becoming a test standard bowler just after South Africa, but then he broke down.

I am so happy that finally Hafeez has been kicked out of the test side....he didn't deserve to be in the test side.....in fact he doesn't deserve to even be anywhere near where a test is being played.

What a rubbish post. Runs are runs but when someone is crap in over half the places he plays in there's definitely a problem. No need to be argumentative just for the heck of it. Besides, this will again prop up his non wkt keeper avg and we will have people fawning over it.

And ftr, I was more pissed because I want a drawn series here. Not surprising though, I am used to Sanga fan boys resorting to straw man arguments and going off on a tangent when unpleasant stats are presented.
