yeah not a surprise. if given a choice, you would never ever ever bat first in a superover

nope. team that bats second goes first. they really should be a choice though. captain who won the toss should get to pick again (so the sixers still would have batted first).
you could also go with the boundary tiebreaker, if you don't want to give the a 50/50 coin toss too much power

i thought that you'd let whoever lost the original toss choose, balance the original chance element somewhat.

Super Overs are dumb (for regular fixture matches).
Yeah, couldn't agree more. I've got no issue with it being used as a tiebreaker in a knockout match, but there's no reason we can't just cop a tie in a league game.

It kind of sums T20 cricket in general though; not so much as a format of cricket but in how it's delivered to the fans at all levels.
