I don't understand West Indies. They are missing so many of their best players and bowling looks in a right load of mess. Poor attitude.

Meh. Other teams don't complain when they beat a 3rd-string NZ team. Neither should we. I agree with Coney: the top 4 should remain as is until the world cup. In fact, I'd even extend it to the top 6.

Guptill
Ryder
Williamson
Taylor
McCullum
Anderson

That's pretty gun.

Harrington's > everything else. And I hate the hell out of those white trash canterbury folk. But they've figured out a few things that emersons havent:
1. Just cos it's hoppy doesnt mean u need to **** yourself while drinking. The whole point of an IPA is drinkability.
2. ****ing draught beer. It's the opiate of the people for when we're not doing cocaine or having ***. May as well make a nice version of it.
3. They don't have a marketing campaign that involves them slagging off cheap beer (i.e. Moa, you ****s)

other than that I'll take:
a) Ranfurly, because **** you.
b) Matilda Bay, It's Australian but it is very nice.
c) whatever ****ing shot this one next to me's friend's are giving to me from guys that are hitting on them.

"World famous in New Zealand" no doubt, but quickly exposed in a World Cup as just a sugary carbonated lemon drink. Until you spike it with this...

He wasn't batting in a way that screamed "I am a test match opener" that's for sure
Just watched the extended highlights and he certainly didn't - I would say that would end any of those thoughts if they ever existed. His technique simply did not look tight. Still in the running to be a number 5 though.

Agree about not discounting Munro, definitely has x-factor & is as good an exponent of the reverse sweep as I've seen.

Get Watling in there. The last thing we need in our lower order is more filthy sloggers
As much as I like Watling and am still far from convinced with Ronchi, I'd actually prefer to see Tom Latham as the short-form keeper.

I know Watling had that good little period in ODI's last year, but that was batting up the order playing the anchor innings when we were missing a few top order batsmen. Not sure where he'd fit into this side with all our best batsmen available, and if he's batting at 7 or 8, we might as well have more of a dasher like a Latham. The only real value I see with Watling is doing a recovery job if we lost a heap of early wickets, but not sure you want to pick a side based on that predicament, perhaps there's an argument to say you do.

Watling averages something like 60 down the order. Would defiantly have him in the team over Ronchi who seriously can't buy a run since he made his debut 6 months ago.

Latham is just as prone to slow scoring as bj early on and he isnt exactly the greatest finisher either. Vettori in at 7 imo With ronchi down at 8
Edit: Vettori and guptill to swap places
