I suppose there's only so many times the journalists can mention a guy's name before they will start to speculate about how he's not getting a gig.

Presumably Tan is the only one mad enough to pick him, too.
Is he not well thought of in Norway then? I mean aside from having his soul permanently stained with evil because of who he played for, obvz.

Oscar booked for diving for what sounds like a stonewaller of a pen.

Pretty amusing given Mourinho's comments re: Suarez the other day.

Edit: Nope, sounds like the ref got it right. Still funny nonetheless.
I don't think it was a dive really, possibly not a pen either. I hate the way it always seems to have to be one or the other these days.

The media portrait is of the golden boy who can never do anything wrong. Which does lead to a bit of tall-poppy syndrome elsewhere.

Also, managing in Norway is such a tiny pond that three years in charge of England netball might have more relevance.

Fair dos, I'm only listening on the Radio today.

RE: the bit in bold, I think commentators and pundits seem to be to blame for that. I've never once heard a casual fan/someone in the pub suggest that such incidents should be either/or. Stuff like this annoys me as well though. Andy Gray was terrible for this sort of thing, used to say things like "player X is perfectly entitled/well within his rights to do Y", whilst happily ignoring what the rules actually said about it.

Lol. Olsen tanked pretty badly with Wimbledon, I suppose. & if ever two MOs were made for each other it was Olsen's & The Dons'.

Solskjaer won Molde their first ever title tho, I think I remember reading. Must count for something.

Really wish Wenger would give Ryo or Gnabry a go here. Really should be going hell for leather for the win here.

This would be a great point really but having led I'll be gutted if don't get back ahead

Sure are. Don't know how we're going to go on with Bendtner injured.
I know you're ripping the piss but I'm genuinely wondering if Walcott through the middle is the best option for Arsenal in the event of Giroud being injured. Part of me's wondering whether it's actually the best option regardless, reckon he'd score ****loads with Özil hitting him with passes all game.

Not a great day so far from United's POV.

The early overhyped Southampton have tanked a fair bit.
