Gold and Sullivan are not noted for being triggerhappy, and in any event in answer to the inevitable question "Are there three worse teams than West Ham in the league?", I think the answer must be "Yes, and very possibly six or seven"

But to the question, "are there three worse people alive than BFS?" the answer is a resounding no

I'm not so sure if the answer is yes.

Pulis has Palace getting good results, and they're not embarassing themselves in the games you'd expect them to lose - a far cry away from the cannon fodder they were under Holloway.

Sunderland are much better than they were earlier in the season as well.

Fulham are dreadful and the only side who I'd say are definitely worse than West Ham.

So Anelka, bit of a **** apparently.

Have to say I've kind of stood up for him in the past, think he was a bit of a twonk when younger, but this has pretty much ended any sympathy for him.

It's an inverted Hitler Salute from invented by someone who fronted an anti-Zionis partyt. Yeah of course it's not anti-semitic8-)

The problem as I see it though is that they're keeping a manager who's incapable of keeping us in the league this season with the football he's playing and selections he's going with. Deserves to go just based on his stupid transfer by putting 15 million into a lame donkey.

Fulham/West Ham at the weekend so that will be very interesting.

Dodgy as ****, isn't it?

I mean, the FA has been clamping down on T*ttenham fans signing "Yid Army" (which is something that's never sat well with me, but is at least claiming back a word the racists have used as a badge of pride, even if the fact that not all Spurts fans are Jewish muddies the waters a tad), so let's hope they chuck the book at someone making a properly racist gesture.

What did Gazza get when he did "the sash" (mimicking the flute players of the Orange Orders' marching bands) when playing for Furball's chaps? That's as close to a British precedent as I can recall.

Bosnich did a nazi salute at Spurs once didn't he?

Anelka has to get a ban, if Wilshere and Suarez get it for flicking the v then this gesture which is surely more offensive has to be punished.

If Robin Friday was born 25 years later he'd have been perma banned in no time - used every offensive gesture in the book, every game

I like that you've made the comparison but domestic politics sort of compels us to pretend that the Orange Order is a cultural body of reasonable people with respectable political views. Whereas with no dog in French politics the FA are free to call Anelka's buddy out for exactly what he is.

I definitely missed that meeting.

Gazza got **** all other than a bit of censure in the media (Davie Provan claimed that he'd jeopardised the peace process).
