***Official*** India in South Africa 2013/14

We're in a lot of trouble here, and India have not had to bat for survival on this tour yet. That could be a different ball game.

Jadeja (lol) our only hope of somehow reeling them in this innings.

Just as I predicted, we have thrown away an amazing opportunity like in Cape Town 2006/07.

These runs tonight have really changed the make up of the game, only 266 behind now with all 10 wickets left in the bank.

Knowing South Africa if they do get to 500, then they'll take another 20 overs getting to 550 and declaring - wasting a dozen or so overs in the process.

If India are batting for a draw they'll probably need to survive about 4 sessions. So the draw isn't that much of a favourite. It would take a minor miracle for India to win.

Cullinan smacks down Manjrekar beautifully on Match Point here. Manjrekar tried to make excuses for India's pathetic lower order and tail batting and Cullinan said that's ridiculous.

Look at Australia in the first 3 tests of the Ashes ffs.

Well if south africa gake 20 overs to get to 550 theid have batted 200 overs .

giving them two sessions to bowl india out. with possible rain, maybe 12 overs.

I'd be amazed if South Africa don't score at considerably better than 3 an over this innings. If they have a good day tomorrow they should be on about 400 by the end. Declare with a 200+ lead by lunch on Day 4. That leaves 5 sessions plus change.

If rain takes a session that would make it pretty interesting, as that would still leave South Africa with a second new ball but not much longer - with a limited overs type chase, to force a win.

We should have played 2 spinners on this pitch. Hope Rohit bowls a few overs. Better bowler than Kohli. Tipping Graeme Smith to pick a few if he bowls as well. **** we are really going to miss Sehwag/Tendulkar's part time spin here. Jadeja looked good as a bowler, I hate to admit. Ash robbed of a 10fer.

There is no way Smith will bowl. Even Amla and Alviro have bowled before him in recent times; he's probably the least likely to player to bowl in the entire lineup.

Didn't he use to bowl a bit at some stage in his career? ODIs maybe. Vividly remember the **** bowling a bit with his collar up like a **** in a game.

So I've slept on it and I'm still pissed off after yesterday's play.

Days like that make me wish I was just a 100% neutral cricket fan like one of my best mates is. Just cheer on players you like etc.

Yesterday I tried being a neutral for a little while and it was a great experience, watching Steyn bowl to Pujara & Vijay. I didn't feel at all disappointed when either of them got out. It worked so well :) as I just enjoyed the cricketing battle. All you have to do is just change your viewing perspective
