Oh cry me a ****ing river. Blame BCCI for a shortened tour we were all anticipating, that's fair. .. But blaming them for SA's subpar performance is simply laughable
who is blaming them for south africas performance? I have not mentioned such a thing.

That has only been a humourous exchange by you guys.

Err... Didn't you say SA were forced into playing at certain venues? How is that not an excuse for SA's performance?
durban is simply a ****ty venue. I wont blame india for our performance. thats a ridiculous statement.

I just blame the bcci for obvious reasons. I ibviously have no sure proof but I assume that the bcci insist we play in durban, because of the standard that had been set and even with some member feeling we should be grateful for at least being given a series. **** them lol.

Saying that durban will get good support because of the indians there is absolute hogwash. Newlands would be a sell out.

But then again with the pre series rammblings people lost interest in this series as could clearly be seen at the wanderers. that gets awesome support at this time of year.

Question - isn't the durban test always the boxing day test? So... isn't it possible Durban got it just because they always get Boxing Day?

Yeah exactly. Given South Africa refused to tour Australia over Christmas because they wanted to establish their own traditions, I'd be surprised if they moved their Boxing Day match.

It is a possibility, but can I be blamed for being suspicious of the bcci from all the crap they uave been pulling?

The newlands new years test is a much bigger event than durban boxing day test.

I love Pujara but the game really needed that wicket.

Also, I really dislike seeing pitches like this in South Africa. I'm not sure how or why it's occurred and I'm not even suggesting India wouldn't be doing so well, I just think it makes for better viewing to have more typical South African wickets in South Africa.
