Given the leeway you get in a Test match, it's got to be much wider than that.

Carberry now has another start. Wonder how he'll chuck it away this time?
Same score block, and seems to be only getting out in a couple of ways too. Pull it straight to a fielder or let it hit your stumps.

That's not enough movement to get a test bat out leaving. Root looks completely clueless. Big potential for a collapse here.

Johnson just clocked 96.8mph on the speed gun. Didn't seem that quick. Really don't trust the speed guns.

I mean, he plays at the one before and edges it and everybody complains about fishing at a harmless ball outside off

England still well placed, good start from both teams, limiting England to about 350 would be a good effort IMO

Watson has Carberry's wicket 3 times in this series now, and how many times has Carberry been dismissed attempting to let balls go?

In nine test innings Michael Carberry has been out six times between 30 and 43 #ashes

Ton before the end of the series or its bye bye for me.

tbh I think the value of an opener who makes consistent starts is very high, especially with a middle order struggling. Who would you prefer?
