I was taking the piss. Not even I'm positive/brave/dumb enough to say James Marshall is any good. The one who's West Indian?
Just returning to the Sohail Khan case, it's interesting to see that he was first being talked-up 4 years ago, by Rashid Latif. After watching Sohail Khan I certainly feel he will be able to deliver the goods on the international stage. He certainly is not the finished article yet but has all the basic ingrediants that are needed to be a good test match bowler.
On the ****ing Money, (besides Hay)Who will be the McGrath's, Warne's, Tendulkar's and Lara's of tomorrow? Which young (or older) stars of today will be impressing in years to come?
Who will standout?
My own picks for the Kiwi team will be:
Southee
Taylor
Ryder
Hay
Anderson
I personally believe Taylor can become one of the top 5 Test batsman in the world, while I have hopes that Southee can dominate. Ryder could go either way, into drunken obscurity or he could be a world leader. The two others though yet to poke their noses in the international scene have a lot of talent in their pockets and could definitely go on to become stars.
What about the likes of Steyn, Sharma, Broad, Malinga do any of these young guys have the potential and the mental ability to do well on the world stage?
(Rich to look this page up in 5 years time to comment on who was right and wrong FTW)
Was sounding pretty ****ing on to it up to the point that I said Irfan Pathan would be the worlds best allrounder.Though on a more on topic front, Clarke is already a star and Johnson should do well, though I don't think he'll average anything under 25, so I don't think he will be a star.
Sharma is just as likely to go completely off the map ala M Patel as he is to be a star.
Also reckon it's fair enough to say Pathan is a future star as he could soon take up the mantle of the worlds best allrounder post Kallis.
You do realise that after this Test hundred Taylor will now almost certainly officially be in the top 5 of the official test rankings. I can only assume that you haven't seen Southee in the last 2 years as well. You mean aside from the obvious that Taylor isn't a top 5 test batsmen, and that Southee doesn't dominate?
This is pretty good. Took Rossco another 5 years before he was done with itThank God he's done with his mid-wicket addiction.
Athlai deserves props for this, I think I'll give a like to Flem.On the ****ing Money, (besides Hay)
Gegs with the goods.Steve Smith, Trent Boult, James Harris /bandwagon.
just because he played them after 100 doesn't make them any less irresponsible. He was done with it after his 120 against England ffs get with it.
Find me all of his slog sweep dismissals below 100 runs between 2008 - 2014.
This is my argument circa years ago ****.He was done with it after his 120 against England ffs get with it.

Br00tal.Athlai deserves props for this, I think I'll give a like to Flem.
Your opinions on James Anderson around this time were pretty funny in retrospect.Well James Anderson shut me up
Gegs with the goods.
Well get different arguments then **** because I've had this one since 2008. Zip it.This is my argument circa years ago ****.
think you're wrong on both of these son.You mean aside from the obvious that Taylor isn't a top 5 test batsmen, and that Southee doesn't dominate?
